how it all started
As a little girl, I remember watching my older sister and mother apply makeup on themselves . Instantly, their confidence boosted right in front of me. It fascinated me. I guess you can say my curiosity for makeup began in our tiny bathroom. When I turned 15, I didn’t realize how much of an impact wearing makeup would have on my life. I remember sitting in that Sephora chair and feeling like I was on top of the world. For the first time in my life, I felt beautiful.
Even now, I still vividly remember that feeling.
Since the moment I realized makeup artistry is the career I wanted to follow, I have strongly devoted all of my time, and effort in helping women and men feel exactly as I did, transformed.
Makeup is my life.

…a little bit more about me
At the age of 17, I presented a persuasive speech in front of my senior classmates. since our prom was just around the corner, The goal was to convince them to get their makeup done with me, instead of going to a retail store. So, i did a live demonstration using one of my friends as an example. By the end, MULTIPLE girls booked an appointment with me. i knew that i would miss out on my own prom, but, my gut feeling was telling me that this opportunity would mean so much more.
my parents have always fully supported my dreams. they helped transform our little kitchen into a mini salon so that i could execute my applications; i'm sure my parents saw something in me that i was yet aware of. keep in mind at the time, i was not a professional, nor had much experience doing makeup on others. i remember stealing my sisters makeup for this, and ordering every single foundation shade that was on bh cosmetics website since i did not know how to foundation match. my background in art DEFINITELY came in handy.
i remember sitting down, my emotions feeling so validated. my gut feeling was right. and so my journey as a makeup artist began.
my English teacher, Mrs. Michele Bond, recaps her experience during my presentation.
